Is it safe to upload a CSV for AI analysis?
Upload only data that your organization permits you to share with the service. QueryAI stores uploaded CSV files on its server; it is not a browser-only analysis tool.
The query-generation flow sends column names, inferred types and your question to the model provider. Removing obvious names is not always enough: identifiers, notes and combinations of fields can still reveal sensitive information. Use synthetic data when evaluating the workflow.
Before uploading
- Remove unnecessary columns and confidential records.
- Review retention, deletion and provider terms in the privacy policy.
- Get the necessary organizational approval for the remaining data.
- Do not assume that a paid tier adds enterprise controls.
The header-only demo runs its conversion locally and needs no file upload.
